Bethesda Game Studios Austin is looking for a talented Associate UI Designer to join an existing team and assist in the creation of dynamic, engaging user interfaces. Candidates will be expected to use Flash and some AS3 scripting to implement existing designs for menus and in-game HUD. The Associate UI Designer will work to implement interfaces using Scaleform, Flash, Photoshop, and additional tools to facilitate the needs of an expanding multiplayer title. As a member of the UI design team, you will also contribute to wireframes, mockups, storyboards, and user flows for new features.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the UX/UI team to implement HUD and menu interfaces based on wireframes/mockups
  • Work efficiently in a live development model on evolving content and features
  • Prototype new interfaces quickly and with minimal supervision
  • Assist in daily live services support tasks, including localization, bug fixing, and ongoing project maintenance

Requirements:

  • Experience developing high-end user interfaces (portfolio examples are a must)
  • Graphic design skills
  • Knowledge of user experience best practices
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills with a great attitude

Preferred Skills:

  • Scripting experience (AS3, JavaScript, etc…)
  • Game creation experience
  • Knowledge of localization pipelines
  • Agile development experience
